About Redefined Horizons

Redefined Horizons is the website I use to share data, tools, and tips with members of the following professional communities:

• Land Surveyors
• GIS Professionals
• Cartographers
• Graphic Artists and Web Designers
• CAD Professionals
• Desktop Software Programmers

This web site is also used for my personal promotion of the following:

• Open Source Software
• Open Technology Standards/Open File Formats
• High Professional Standards for Land Surveyors and Other Mapping Professionals

I also occasionally offer consulting services related to GIS and open source GIS software when I find a project that intrigues me. These consulting services are typically offered to small businesses and small government agencies that want to utilize open source GIS software. The consulting services I offer focus on land surveying, public works/infrastructure, and cartography. These consulting services include:

The Redefined Horizons website now has a new design. It is built using CSS and HXTML and features a "liquid" layout similar to the ones featured on the cssliquid.com website.
