Monument Recovery Notes
Monument Status
- Status: Likely Destroyed
Recovery Note
- Date: 2009-10-29
- Surveyor: Landonm Blake
- Organization Name: KSN Inc.
- Comments: KSN made a diligent search for this monument in the early summer of 2009. No evidence of the marker, including witness posts or witness signs, was found. The search area extended north of Fremont Street and East of Broadway Avenue from the edge-of-pavement lines to the wall/fence surrounding the adjacent private property. Recent construction of street improvements at the Fremont Street/State Highway 99 interchange appear to have removed the concrete headwall on which the monument was set, destroying the monument.
