In this workshop Landon provides and in-depth discussion of ethics for the modern land surveyor. In this discussion Landon defines ethics, defines professionalism, explains the difference between ethics and professionalism, explains why ethics is a difficult topic, and examines six areas of ethical obligation for land surveyors. He also talks about how ethical performance of land surveyors is monitored and regulated. As time allows, Landon will provide examples of ethical mud pits typically encountered by land surveyors.
